Positive: Very welcoming host who ensured we had everything we neeeded was waiting for our arrival and punctual for our leaving. The property was very spacious and had everything we needed including the washer and dryer that were not on the listing but a great bonus. The town was fantastic and a great place to stay with lots to do in the area and was central to everything. Also great running routes from the property.
Negative: Too many cupboards and doors locked off for a rental property
Summary: A fantastic stay in a lovely property and with a fantastic host. Thoroughly recommended

Positive: We had a really relaxed, comfortable stay here. The house is really spacious, the bedrooms comfortable with lovely views over the river and the kitchen/diner cosy and well supplied. It’s great to have off-street parking and also be able to walk to shops, cafes etc in just a few minutes. The house has lovely outside spaces too which we would have used in better weather! Overall a great base for a trip to Salzkammergut.

Positive: This is a very nice and cozy townhouse in downtown Bad Ischl. Everything is clean and nice. It has a fully equipped kitchen, nice washer and dryer. Walking distance to all shopping and restaurants area in Bad Ischl. Also the property owner is very nice, it is so hard to describe how we love this property in words

Positive: We were warmly greeted by our hosts, Christian and Katharina, who took time to show us around the property and provided some great recommendations to help us enjoy our stay. It was a lovely touch and very much appreciated that some surprise gifts were left for us to enjoy. Christian checked that everything was satisfactory once we had settled in but other than that was very unobtrusive. The presentation of the house on our arrival was immaculate and offered everyting required for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect with plenty of space to relax, inside and out, with the added bonus of easy private access to the river. Because the house is on the opposite side of the river from the main town, it is very quiet and tranquil, but everything, including restaurants, supermarkets and shops are all easily accessible within a few minutes walk. The owners should be truly proud of their property and we would highly recommend it. Rating 11/10.
Negative: We would have liked to have stayed longer!

Positive: Very nice hosts. The house is lovely with traditional wooden balconies. There is a sauna in the garden where, afterwards you can sit in the river Trauen and cool off. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean, as was the rest of the house. Located only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Bad Ischl but incredibly quiet and tranquil. Beds were extremely comfortable and good quality. House has its own park space and.....with a family of four......there are three toilets...absolute plus:-) If klettersteigs are of interest, there are lots to do in the area as well as the lakes. Highly recommend and will be deffinatley returning. Thank you to Katherina and Christian.

Positive: A beautiful tranquil location overlooking the river, but only a few minutes walking from the heart of Bad Ischl. Many local walks, but also easy car and public transportation connections to other sights. The house is also much more spacious than the pictures had seemed to suggest. You will not regret it!
Summary: We had such a wonderful time here and did not want to leave.
